Katie O’Brien Donated $50

Yayyyy! Katie O’Brien donated $50! She is currently an ASL teacher at University of Northern Iowa. She was originally from Texas. Katie was one of best students that I have ever taught at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, back in early 2000s!

A few years ago Katie came to me one day and told me that she still remembered what she had learned in my class. I used two formats in both languages (ASL and written English) in mid- and final – testings. A question in one of testings asked what name of the ship in which Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet brought Laurent Clerc to America. Just for fun, can any of you guess the name of that ship?

Thank you, Katie, very much for your donation! ♥️

10 percent from all purchased ASL Rose products (www.aslrose.com/shop) will go to the National Deaf Schools Museum, and we also welcome ANY amount of donation toward the purchasing of the Primary Building (or PB for short).

Please help make a dream come true in purchasing and turning the PB into three divisions: the future National Deaf Schools Museum, a new home for GSD Museum, and also a new home for ASL Rose: https://www.facebook.com/donate/436509450618919/?fundraiser_source=external_url
