Freida (Wilson) Sorrells Donated $50

Whoo hooo!!! Frieda (Wilson) Sorrells donated $50! She is one of my mom’s best friends. Take a look at those pictures. See a woman in yellow shirt at my old home on that day, October 10, 1971…that’s Freida when she was only 16 years old! She knew me for years from when I was a baby. In that picture, my mom was holding me and my sister Camille was standing next to us. I was a year and two months old and Camille was then two years and three months old. As you can see I wanted to talk…my hands were moving…that’s my native spoken ASL. The most recent picture I have is of me and Frieda sitting together at a restaurant just last Christmas day. Pictures are definitely keepsakes!

Thank you very much, Frieda, for your donation! ♥️

10 percent from all purchased ASL Rose products (www.aslrose.com/shop) will go to the National Deaf Schools Museum, and we also welcome ANY amount of donation toward the purchasing of the Primary Building (or PB for short).

Please help make a dream come true in purchasing and turning the PB into three divisions: the future National Deaf Schools Museum, a new home for GSD Museum, and also a new home for ASL Rose: https://www.facebook.com/donate/436509450618919/?fundraiser_source=external_url
