ADONIA: Hi! Deaf Cinderella is the first and only one book in the entire US that was adapted from a classic Cinderella story in Deaf perspective…possibly in the world, even. There had been many, many adaptions of the classic Cinderella story around the world but never from a Deaf perspective, and certainly never with a special attention to Deaf History like Deaf Cinderella did. Any of you have ever read, or know of a book – a classic fairy tale – that was adapted in a genuine Deaf perspective with attention to Deaf History in other countries?
