Adonia: Hello! Guess where I am? At the Primary Building (PB), naturally! I wanted to inform you that a guy who graduated from GSD in 1981…his name i‪s Terry Ellis‬ Garrison and he has donated $40 last night! Thanks, Terry!

Adonia: When Terry was younger, he entered PB in 1965 until 1970 before he was transferred to another GSD building somewhere on the campus. Because he had stepped in PB during those years, it is completely understandable why Terry loved this building. Also when you see a group picture with Terry in it, you’ll see he has a twin (frat) brother standing next to him. The twin’s name is Gerry Garrison. Why did they stand in front of the building? Because of PRIDE, that was the point. Taking a picture on the first day at school, or gathering for an event, or a class roll, any reason for a special gathering…it always has to be in the front of one of GSD’s buildings! Is GSD the only one doing this? No, it is common for all Deaf schools in USA. The point is PRIDE. That’s why Terry donated $40 because he has the pride for the Primary Building. His pride is there!

10 percent from all purchased ASL Rose products (www.aslrose.com/shop) will go to the National Deaf Schools Museum, and we also welcome ANY amount of donation toward the purchasing of the Primary Building (or PB for short).

Please help make a dream come true in purchasing and turning the PB into three divisions: the future National Deaf Schools Museum, a new home for GSD Museum, and also a new home for ASL Rose: https://www.facebook.com/donate/436509450618919/?fundraiser_source=external_url
