Calendar Cards: ASL-English Bilingual-Bicultural Deaf Holiday (Group #1)

There are federal holidays and commonly observed holidays, and then there are Deaf holidays! We remember significant historical events in the Deaf community with the Deaf Holidays Cards. On the back of these cards, learn more about why we celebrate those special dates.

On the front of each card, people can view the ASL signs and English text of each Deaf holiday. On the back of each respective card, people can read the narrative of the holiday in English text. In addition, a QR code links to a website where people can view the narratives in ASL.

Each card is 3″ by 3″ card stock and designed to fit in the ASL-English Bilingual-Bicultural Calendar Kit and in conjunction with other Calendar Cards, but can be used as stand alone cards.
